Infants and toddlers should not consume soda, diet or otherwise. Only provide drinks that are full of nutrients and vitamins, for example milk, water, or sugar free juice.

You may be tempted to push a younger child into reaching the same milestones as your older child just because the older child had accomplished doing it at that age. Children mature at different rates, and trying to force things could cause unwanted developmental delays.

Giving your child the opportunity and encouragement to participate in team sports, and being there to watch their games, will strengthen your relationship, create shared memories, and build important life skills.

When traveling with children, bring along some items that will be comforting. While adults view vacations as a much-needed respite from the rest of the world, travel can be very stressful for young children. Let your child keep a familiar object, like a favorite toy, to help them adjust to a new environment.
